HYDROWORXX MITE & INSECT KILLER contains the dual active ingredients pyrethrins and canola oil to control all life stages of labeled pests. Pyrethrins are a botanical extract derived from the chrysanthemum flower that have a toxic effect specific to insects. They penetrate the cuticle and prevent normal function of the insect nervous system, leading to insect death. While pyrethrins kill the adult insects, canola oil smothers the eggs and larvae, providing multigenerational control of unwanted pests.
- Controls all stages of listed insects, including eggs
- Dual killing action
- Use up to day of harvest
Yes! Pyrethrins are often combined with synthetic synergists such as pyperonyl butoxide (PBO). Unlike the majority of products available on the market, HydroWorxx Mite and Insect Killer contains canola oil which is a great alternative to synthetic compounds. This product contains the non-synthetic active ingredients pyrethrins and canola oil, and is OMRI listed for organic gardening.
HydroWorxx Mite and Insect Killer combines two proven active ingredients: pyrethrins and canola oil. While pyrethrins target the adult insects' nerve system, canola oil smothers eggs and larvae, providing multi-generational control of unwanted pests with each application.
HydroWorxx Mite and Insect Killer kills listed insects on contact, providing visible results within minutes.

HydroWorxx Mite and Insect Killer contains the powerful botanical insecticide pyrethrins, and may not be necessary for all insect infestations. For soft bodied insects, such as aphids, begin by treating with HydroWorxx Insecticidal Soap, and repeat every 1-2 weeks, or as needed. If insecticidal soap does not provide adequate control, or for severe infestations, use a 1% solution of Mite and Insect Killer. For tougher to control pests, such as thrips, use a 2% solution of Mite and Insect Killer. Follow label directions carefully, ensuring that all parts of the plant are sprayed, as this is a contact killer and will only control eggs, larvae and adult insects that are directly sprayed.
